Terms of use
By using this site you agree to the terms below. They are deliberately short.
The service
DeveloperTools provides free, browser-based developer utilities. The tools run entirely on your device; the site provides the code that runs them and nothing more. No account is required and no usage limit is imposed.
Acceptable use
You may use the tools for personal and commercial work, including on data belonging to your employer or clients, subject to your own obligations regarding that data.
You may not:
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
- scrape or republish the site in a way that presents it as your own service;
- use the site to process material that is unlawful for you to possess or handle.
Your data
Because processing happens in your browser, you remain solely responsible for whatever you paste into a tool. The site cannot see it, cannot recover it and cannot delete it on your behalf. Nothing is stored once the tab closes.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of output.
Formatters, converters and validators can produce unexpected results on unusual input. Verify the output before relying on it in production, and keep your own copy of anything important. Do not treat a tool’s result as authoritative.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site’s operator is not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
Availability and changes
The site may be modified, interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice. Tools may be added, changed or removed. Nothing here constitutes a commitment to maintain a particular tool.
Advertising
The site displays third-party advertising. The presence of an ad is not an endorsement, and the operator is not responsible for advertisers’ content, products or practices.
Intellectual property
The site’s name, design and source code belong to their author. Output you generate from your own input belongs to you; no claim is made over it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
